Hi Anne...thanks so much for responding. I too deal with tinnitus and hearing loss. I recently purchased 2 new hearing aids from Hear.com and they are great. My Humana plan paid for the most part thankfully. It's a crazy disease for sure. I had really horrific vertigo the first few years. My tinnitus gets louder when I'm stressed. I'll be selling my condo here in NC soon and hope to return to Virginia where I have many friends. I'm hoping this move isn't too stressful and I hope I'm doing the right thing by returning to Virginia. I've even considered New Hampshire, Vermont and Delaware. For some reason, my body is happier in cooler/colder weather. I lived in Florida for almost 20 years! Go figure! Enjoy your traveling! It sounds so very exciting and educational!
How exciting! I'm living vicariously through your adventures. I was curious as to how you are doing with your Meniere's? I was diagnosed in 2007, but didn't get the nasty symptoms until 2011 and this lasted through 2017. I haven't had any dizzy spells since then thankfully! It may be because I quit the job I hated...who knows.
